The past few days have been rough for me on a personal level. The murder of Charlie Kirk has truly impacted me and caused me overthink.
The surprising aspect to it is that not only I never met Charlie Kirk, but I didn't even know much about him. That said, when I learnt about his murder, I vaguely remembered him. After doing some searches I realized that I had came across one or two YouTube videos of his in the past.
Since I never followed him, I can't say if I agree with him or not. What I can say is that after he died I saw a number of his videos and I have to say that he was a courageous man that honestly believed in what he preached which is quite a rarity nowadays.
Irrispective if one agrees or not with his preachings, his murder should have never happened. To add to that, whilst I am already incredolous that someone murdered a 31 year old family man for sharing his values, I am in even greater disbelieve that to some the murder of Charlie Kirk was justified and asking for the murderer to be forgiven.
This situation has led me to overthink, as not only I feel for Charlie Kirk's family, but I am also in dismay for the reaction of some towards the murder of a dedicated family man.
I do hope that there is an afterlife, from where Charlie can take care of his family.
